The course English Grammar I is oriented to the development of skills and topics in which the students are going to be exposed to the basic grammatical tenses acquired in the courses English Integrated Skills I–IV. The course will allow the students to extend their opportunities to practice grammar. These exercises are going to strengthen the language skills learned.

Though the course is focused on practicing grammar this does not mean that the teacher is going to obviate the four macro skills (reading-writing, listening-speaking). This way the students are going to reinforce the vocabulary used in the English-speaking countries. To contribute to achieve the mission and vision of URACCAN the discussion topics and grammar are going to be focused on the respect and promotion of intercultural aspects and gender in the topics involved.
